A video update and a request...

First off, I’d love it if you voted in my poll…

But also, regardless as to what I say below and in the video, I have decided to attempt posting videos on you tube and you can follow me there to be made aware as new videos come out…. I am calling them “Sticky Note Wisdom” until I think of a better name!

Because I really can’t have public video posts at the moment, and also I am not super excited to make videos in the first place…. but yet I realize it is necessary to do so in order to build an audience (or not) of people who will one day hopefully want to buy my book (or again, not…which will be evidence that my bright idea to write a book wasn’t really so bright after all)… It feels like a nice comfy security blanket to produce such videos here behind a pay wall accessible only with a subscription… which I discuss more fully in the video.

I’m working full-time in a new job for which the training is intense (which is using a lot of my mind’s bandwidth) and it’s also taking almost all of my “spare” time to take my physical health and emotional well-being to the next level… so the most I feel I can do right now to keep my foot in the door is communicate via video.

I do love the idea of experimenting here with those of you I feel I already have a relationship with. Its the next level of finding my voice and overcoming my uncertainties to find the words to actually speak what is dropping into my mind throughout the day often at the most inconvenient times. This has led to me developing a practice of writing down thoughts on sticky notes (or whatever I can find at the moment….but I do have an awful lot of sticky notes full of chicken scratch stuck to one another at any given point in time).

So I’d like to present to you via video “Sticky Note Wisdom”. I’d shoot for little videos as often as I can. Some will be longer than others. I’m open to the fact you may hate them or you may love them. I’d really, truly love to know either way because while I think it’s a good alternative to not having time to write, ultimately my goal would be to entertain, if not inspire you, and if that isn’t happening, I need to know I’m off base and might be better off using that time to get more steps in during the day.

Also, after I say in the video that a subscription will be $3.33/month or $33.33/year (savings of .55/month) or $100 for an annual “founders” membership that will eventually get you a complimentary, signed copy of my book (whether it take 1, 3 or 5 years I WILL get that book done), I unfortunately found out after the fact that the minimum allowable to charge for a monthly subscription on Substack is $5.00 so I apologize for going on and on about how I chose the amounts numerologically, dang it!

5’s do stand for SOUL DIRECTED CHANGE though, and that IS why I am switching to video communications over the spoken word. My soul says it’s this or nothing right now, and I really don’t want it to be nothing. An annual subscription is $50.00 so that is soul directed change plus the ooompf of TRIPLE GOD FORCE behind it, so there’s that!! The other option is $100.00 for a founder’s annual subscription and 1’s are NEW BEGINNINGS (with quadruple God force…and sometimes that is exactly what it takes to move in the direction of a new beginning)…

SO… if you can do a subscription, I thank YOU!!! If you cannot or just choose not to, I totally understand, and as I navigate my way through starting to make videos, I will eventually be able to edit them to keep just the more sensitive things behind the paywall, and the more palpable things as free content that I will cross post in multiple medias once I get my sea legs under me!
